A weekly space for spiritual nourishment through poems, praise, and remembrance of the Prophet ﷺ. Come early for check-in and stay for heartfelt connection and reflection. Breezes of the Elect, a compilation of traditional qasidah in Arabic with both translation and transliteration.

7 PM - 7:45 PM Social Hour & Community Check in
7:45 PM - 8:30 PM Mawlid from "Breezes of The Elect"
8:30 PM - 9:00 PM Questions and Wrap up
~9:15 PM Prayer and Light Refreshments

Additional parking is available at Columbia funeral home across the street from Rainier Arts Center. We have an agreement with the venue to use their parking lot.
Journey of Hearts is a weekly spiritual and community-building gathering organized by
Wasat held every Thursday at the Rainier Arts Center in Seattle. The event features community check-ins, dhikr (remembrance of the Divine), Mawlids (poems and songs of remembrance), and spiritual teachings, creating a sanctuary for wellness and connection. The gathering typically runs from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM PST
What to Expect at Journey of Hearts:
Community Check-ins: A time for sharing and spiritual companionship.
Dhikr: The remembrance of God through prayer and devotional practices.
Mawlid: Poetic and musical recitations from "Breezes of The Elect".
Teachings: Exploration of the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (Peace be Upon Him)
Social Time : An opportunity to connect with others before the program.
Refreshments: Light refreshments are provided
