Celebrating the Messenger of Love

Across Muslim cultures from Senegal to South East Asia the month of Rabi al-Awwal is a month of celebration of the life and legacy of the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him. It is an opportunity to reflect on his sirah, to express gratitude for his example, and to celebrate the blessing of being from his umma. This month, join us in commemorating the living legacy of the beloved Prophet with an evening of poetry, song, and remembrance of the one whom the Quran calls, “the Mercy to all of existence.”

We will be joined once again by world renowned Nasheed artist Uthman Ames, percussionist Marlon Altan, and poet Baraka Blue, among other special guests.
