The Being Muslim class is designed to deepen our understanding of Islam together. This year's topic is “The Ninety-nine Beautiful Names of God”, based on theAl-Ghazali text of the same name. Shaykh Qasim Hatem from Mihraab Foundation is our teacher.

During Ramadan, our regular Wednesday class will meet one hour before sunset for a brief lesson followed by dhikr (group recitation in remembrance of God). Attendees are welcome to stay for sunset prayer and to break the fast together. The meal will be potluck style - please bring a dish to share if you can.
